A spammed message purporting to come from Starbucks is making its rounds on the Web. It informs the recipients that Starbucks is supposedly giving out gift cards via a link in the email message. When users click on the said link, it either leads to malicious sites or it automatically shares malicious links to the users' Twitter account.

Users are advised to never click on links in messages, especially if these messages are from unknown sources. For information about online promos, users are advised to visit the brand’s official website.
